Join us in beautiful Bridgeport, CA for another great event! We’re excited to announce that Dave Stamey, Trinity Seely, Carin Mari, Amy Hale, and Annie Mackenzie will be back to share their wonderful poetry and music.

We are also adding four new workshops this year taught by Amy Hale, Kailey Klein + Mary Cerise, Trinity Seely, and Sarah Smith!

We will have two days of fantastic displays of original art from our artists and makers. Head on over to the artist page to see the outstanding lineup for 2023.

- Saturday Public Shopping -

Back by popular demand, Saturday will have open hours to shop and meet our wonderful artists/makers. The Trade Show will be free and open to the public from 10am - 3pm! So be sure to stop by and see our new vendors and their beautiful creations. After 3pm, the Trade Show will only be open to our Saturday Night guests for private shopping.

EVENT SCHEDULE

FRIDAY EVENING

Our Friday evening guests will have a first look at the 2023 display of artists and makers, dinner, and an exclusive performance by Dave Stamey, Trinity Seely and Amy M. Hale! This one-of-a-kind collaboration will blend Dave and Trinity’s beautiful songwriting and singing with Amy’s expressive story-telling and poetry. Dave, Trinity and Amy are genuine western artists speaking from the land where they live.⁠

All artists and makers will be set up in the Barn Gallery and the grass area for viewing and shopping before dinner. Come shop and support our wonderful makers!

An intimate dinner setting provides an opportunity to converse with artists and your table neighbors, creating an evening of fun and making new friends.

Schedule:

  • 4:00pm - Gates open. Trade show opens.

  • 6:30pm - 10:00pm - Dinner with performance and concert.

Tickets will be limited for this special night, so make sure you reserve your seats as soon as possible! Ticket price includes the art display, dinner, and concert.

SATURDAY EVENT

Attendees will experience a full day of artist/maker displays of original art for sale, followed by dinner, poetry and dancing music.

Dinner consists of a traditional western style grilled meal. Share a table with your friends and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the ranch before the music starts. 

Evening entertainment features a collaborative performance with Dave Stamey, Annie Mackenzie, and Carin Mari! 

Schedule:

  • 10:00am - Gates open for public shopping and Saturday ticket holders.

  • 3:00pm - Gates close for open admission

  • 4:00pm - Gates open. Private shopping begins.

  • 6:30pm - 10:00pm - Dinner with performance and concert.

Tickets will sell out for the Saturday event. Saturday ticket price includes the art exhibits, dinner, and entertainment. Buy your tickets as soon as possible!

- WORKSHOPS -

Leather & Silver workshop taught by Kailey Klein and Mary Cerise. Sponsored by Be A Maker School

Learn how to create a tooled trucker hat with Kailey Klein, the leather artist behind Magpie West. Students will not only tool a leather patch, but will buck stitch it onto a trucker hat AND learn how to make a sterling silver hat pin to adorn it with Mary Cerise, owner and artist behind Hanging Moon Silver, to adorn it

Our hope is you will walk away with an increased interest in both trades and a piece you are proud to wear at the rodear! All tools and materials will be provided and you don’t need prior knowledge in these trades to join. Just bring a great energy and willingness to learn! We hope you join us and in the meantime check out our online courses in these trades through Be A Maker School.

Writing Our Way Through with Amy Hale

Join author and speaker Amy Hale for a morning of active writing as well as a discussion about developing habits and practices to support our creative lives. Hale invites artists and artisans in any medium to join her for an examination of the use of daily writing to unlock, jump start, and give voice to the creative process. The workshop will cover many of the topics that Hale covers in her popular online workshops. Bring your own writing tools and your own inner spark, and be prepared to write.

Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet with Turquoise Cabochon taught by Sarah Smith

Discover the art of crafting your own sterling silver cuff bracelet with a beautiful stone in this engaging one-day class. You'll be guided through the fundamentals of cuff bracelet fabrication and have the opportunity to ask any silversmithing questions you may have. From learning about tools to soldering, forming, bezel making, stone setting, and polishing, this class covers it all. By the end of the day, you'll proudly walk away with your very own unique bracelet, ready to be shown off and cherished for years to come. You'll have a selection of turquoise cabochons to choose from and all the tools and materials you need to complete your project will be provided. No prior experience is required.

Songwriting with Trinity Seely

The art of songwriting is one that just about anyone can learn. Whether or not you’ve tried your hand at songwriting in the past, this workshop will give you the opportunity to get creative and  introduce you to the tools and techniques you need to write your first song.
