What is The Rodear?

The Rodear is a two-day celebration of Western arts, culture, and community held annually in Bridgeport, California. Now in its 5th year, The Rodear honors the traditions of the West while showcasing the next generation of western women artists and makers through exhibitions, performances, workshops, and education.

What does The Rodear support?

We are a nonprofit event that uplifts and invests in western women creatives—artists, makers, poets, and singer-songwriters—through:
- Public exhibitions
- Live performances
- Workshops led by skilled makers
- Educational opportunities via our Sallie Knowles Joseph Scholarship Program

When and where is it?

July 25–26, 2025
68 Twin Lakes Road, Bridgeport, CA 93517 — a high-desert gem nestled near Yosemite, Mono Lake, Bodie Ghost Town, and nearby hot springs. A place where western tradition meets wild Sierra beauty.

What can I expect at The Rodear?

- A spirited live auction of original art and goods, held Saturday night prior to the evening music (you must be present to bid)

How do I get tickets?

Friday (July 25): Ticketed evening event from 4 PM to 10 PM.
Saturday (July 26): Open to the public from 10 AM to 3 PM (free shopping hours).
Saturday evening (July 26): Ticketed evening event from 4 PM to 10 PM.

Tickets are available on our website at www.therodear.org.
Evening shows and workshops have limited seating—buy early to secure your spot.
You can buy tickets at the door if we haven’t sold out.
Check-in is simple with your phone or name at the gate.
Children under 12 attend free.
