A New Thursday Evening at The Rodear
This year, we are opening The Rodear with something new — an intimate Thursday evening gathering designed to welcome guests into the spirit of the weekend in a more personal way. Limited to 50 guests, Thursday evening will combine music, poetry, art, and a custom chef prepared meal to kick off The Rodear weekend.
Adele Nash and Haley Wight help shape the hospitality at the heart of the evening, setting the tone for a Thursday gathering of shared table, new friendships, and a warm beginning to the weekend.
Adele Nash is a fifth-generation rancher and chef rooted in Northeast Oregon, where her cooking is shaped by the seasons, the land, and the people who steward it. She works closely with local farmers and ranchers, bringing a deep respect for ingredients and a straightforward, thoughtful approach that lets them speak for themselves.
Known for creating meals around a shared table, Adele cooks with a sense of generosity and intention, meals that invite connection, conversation, and a feeling of belonging. Her work resonates with those who value craft, place, and purpose, offering an experience that is both grounded and quietly refined.
Haley Wight has been making cabernet since 2006, just one year after she fell in love with winemaking as a harvest intern in a rustic cellar on the top of Spring Mountain in the Napa Valley. She is the daughter of a mother raised on a cattle ranch in Yountville and a father raised on his family’s Lewelling Ranch in St. Helena.
Haley’s hands have always been in the soil, whether working as a backcountry ranger, a farm worker, or a winemaker, she has felt connected to the land and it’s beauty. She is honored to continue her family’s farming legacy in the Napa Valley and strives to make balanced and beautiful wines.
